Vietnam Seafood: Export & Sourcing FAQ

1. Will my shipment face delays due to the new 2026 US shipping rules?

No. We know the 2026 Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) has caused some port confusion this year. To keep your goods moving, we only source from approved "equivalent" fisheries. We handle all the Certificate of Admissibility (COA) paperwork so your container clears customs without a hitch.

2. How are you keeping shrimp prices stable after the February POR19 update?

With the POR19 duty reviews that came out in February 2026, we’ve locked in long-term contracts with our partner farms. This allows us to offer you stable, competitive FOB Ho Chi Minh City pricing for Black Tiger and Vannamei shrimp, protecting you from mid-season price hikes.

3. What are the actual shipping times from Vietnam right now?

Despite current global fluctuations, our containers from Cat Lai Port (HCMC) are moving steadily. You can expect 21-28 days to the EU and 28-35 days to North America. We book through priority lines like Maersk and MSC to ensure your cold chain stays solid from start to finish.

4. How do you verify quality and safety for 2026 exports?

We don't just "buy and ship." Every facility we use is HACCP, ISO, and FDA registered and fully compliant with the updated 2026 Vietnam safety decrees. We provide full lab reports for every batch, so you know exactly what’s in the container before it even leaves the port.
